What size should I go for?
Art above furniture looks right at roughly two-thirds the width of whatever sits beneath it. 20×30 cm works on a shelf or as part of a gallery group. 40×60 cm is the safe bet above a sideboard or a bed. 60×90 cm is a statement and wants a wall to itself. Still torn? Cut the size out of newspaper and stick it on the wall for a day — it's the only test that never lies.
